With the Summer weather being as reliable as the England cricket team, it is good to know that there is a place where the temperature is always constant, where comfort is guaranteed and where your mind transports you effortlessly to any private paradise you choose. And all just down the road in W4 (devonshire road naturally!).So beat the damp summer blues and bask in a floatroom - we can guarantee to make you feeeeeeel good regardless of the sun factor!
Party pic's and random celebrations
We celebrated our 3rd birthday on the 7th of August and with balloons, silly hats, home made cakes (prepared by my hugely gifted girlfriend Jo) and fizz we had a great float party… thanks to all who came and joined the celebrations, a selection of photographs from the day can be found here.It was noted by many that a small glass of fizz and indulgent cake post float did round the experience off nicely and we are thus planning to have random evenings in the future where surprise goodies will be served to celebrate floating more often…
Wedding
Congratulations also to Alex Johnson - our excellent Osteopath who married Jasmine on the 14th of July. From the pictures you can see that they both looked amazing - especially Jasmine who designed and made her own dress. The weather spirits were also certainly on their side as they enjoyed a beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony in Stroud whilst it rained solidly the day before and the day after!!A bit of a break
We are having a bit of a rest for two weeks from Wednesday 22 Augustkeeping all of you calm, relaxed and de-stressed means that every so often we need to give the floatrooms some tlc and send the float staff off to research other forms of relaxation …. we still haven't found anything that beats floating but we keep looking…
But don't panic - we know how you guys need your regular floats so we are not shutting completely - we are still open Friday, Saturday and Sunday as normal. Those of you with off-peak float plans or vouchers can use them on the weekends during this period.
